UB-Ferran Adrià Award with Gallina Blanca Star

 

imatgeThe UB-Ferran Adrià Award with Gallina Blanca Star was created to promote the studies in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and Food Science and Technology among the high school students, in addition to boost those research works (treballs de recerca) which link the different sciences with the daily reality of the cuisine world. University of Barcelona organizes, since 2009, an award for those research works having to do with nutrition and the food sector.

Sent Soví Award for Gastronomic Literature

 

In order to reward those literary works in which gastronomic art is given an exceptional dimension, the publishing group RBA, in conjunction with Freixenet and the University of Barcelona, annually calls this award since 2001.

 

The presented works compete for an award honoring the best literary recipe in prose and which has a total prize money of 24.000 € for the winner, besides the renowned prestige it has achieved throughout these years.
