Internationalization

Model organitzatiuThe international character of its project is one of the highest strategic priorities of the Food and Nutrition Torribera Campus in the medium to long term. This includes three crucial areas: the studies, research and institutional ones, with the object to locate in the Campus the international agri-food campuses' map of similar characteristics.

In regard to studying and teaching fields, it is necessary to take advantage of the activities and relations of the teaching staff housed in the Campus as well as the activities boosted from the Centre d’Ensenyament Superior de Nutrició Humana i Dietètica (CESNID) over the past years. In the research field, Torribera campus has the aim to deepen in the international activities done by the research groups through the Nutrition and Food Safety Research Institute (INSA).

It is also important to emphasize the potential of the UB as an active member of the main international nets and associations involved in university research.
