Leandra Celso Constantino is graduated in Biological Sciences at Universidade do Extremo Sul Catarinense - UNESC (2008). She obtained her Ph.D. in 2014, at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC, under the supervision of Dra. Carla Inês Tasca. She spent 7 months in our research group in 2013, in the frame of the “PROGRAMA CIÊNCIA SEM FRONTEIRAS” which is supported by the Brazilian government (MEC/MCTI/CAPES/CNPq). Her research is focused on the mechanisms involved in the neuroprotective effect of N-Methyl-D-Aspartate (NMDA) preconditioning": highlighting the role of adenosine receptors.
