Ph.D. Student

Laura Isabel Sarasola Telleria performed her Master in Biomedical Research (2019-2020) at the University Pompeu Fabra. She is pursuing a scientific career and she joined our laboratory to do her master's thesis in the research of the Parkinson's disease (PD). Initially, she focused on the functional implication of mutations associated to PD in the adenosine A1 receptor, a work performed under the supervision of Prof. Francisco Ciruela. In 2021 she started her Ph.D. at the Neuropharmacology & Pain research group with the support of the "Acció instrumental de formació de científics i tecnòlegs" (SLT017/20/000114) of the Departament de Salut de la Generalitat de Catalunya.
