POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER

Glòria Salort Flaquer graduated in Biology at the Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB, Palma de Mallorca, Spain). She obtained her Master’s degree in Neuroscience from the UIB in 2014. Later, she performed her Ph.D. at the Neuropharmacolgy Group, IdISBa-UNICS (Institut d'investigació sanitària de les Illes Balears - Institut Universitari d'Investigació en Ciències de la Salut), Department of Biology, under the supervision of Prof. Jesús A. García Sevilla and Dra. Maria Álvaro Bartolomé. In 2020, she defended her thesis entitled “Regulación farmacológica de las MAP quinasas MEK1/2 y ERK1/2 en la señalización de los receptores GABAA y NMDA: curso temporal de sueño inducido por agentes hipnóticos/anestésicos en cerebro de ratón”. In January 2022, she joined the Prof. Francisco Ciruela’s group in the Department of Pathology and Experimental Therapeutics at the University of Barcelona as a Margarita Salas postdoctoral researcher.
