Siobhán Ahern
Erasmus Student
Siobhán graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) degree in Pharmacology in 2012. She spent a year in the lab between 2011-12 as an ERASMUS student. Her work involved the generation and characterization of stable cell lines for G-protein coupled receptor (D2 and A2A) sensors under the supervision of Dr. Francisco Ciruela. In 2012 Siobhán started a PhD at the University of Manchester, under the supervision of Dr. David Bechtold, Prof. David Ray and Prof. Garth Cooper, looking at the links between the circadian clock and energy homeostasis and is due defend it at the end of 2015.
