Damaris graduated in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Barcelona (2013). She undertook her final degree project (TFG) entitled "Study of the interaction between the mu-opioid receptor and the Fas-Associated protein with Death Domain (FADD)" under the supervision of Dr. Francisco Ciruela which was be defended in June 2013. Subsequently, 2013 to 2014 she achieved her Master degree in Clinical Analysis Laboratory at the University Pompeu Fabra (2013-2014).
