Sant Cugat del Vallès
Monastery of Sant Cugat del Vallès, twelfth-fourteenth century.
Elias Rogent visited the monastery of Sant Cugat del Vallès on several occasions and, in 1852, he received a commission to consolidate its cloister. One of the most important visits Rogent made to the monastery took place on 27 June 1880. This was the first in a series of artistic excursions to monuments in Catalonia organized by the Catalan Association of Architects, begun on Rogent's initiative in 1874.
