Another important research line of ERAAUB is physical anthropology and paleopathology. Those disciplines are intrinsically linked to archaeology and, more specifically, to funerary archaeology. This interest has contributed to the progressive development of a research line focused on the analysis of the human remains from different sites and chronology ranging from the 6th to the 12th century AD. The most significant case studies have been developed in the sites of Clunia (Burgos), Pollentia (Mallorca), Son Peretó (Mallorca), Olèrdola (Alt Penedès) and Terrassa (Vallès Occidental).
