The poem 'La Pàtria' (Homeland)
La Pàtria, by Bonaventura Carles Aribau, published in the newspaper El Vapor, on 24 August 1833.
On 24 August 1833, Bonaventura Carles Aribau wrote in El Vapor, a publication with an undisputed influence on the Catalan Romantic movement, his ode La Pàtria, the first Romantic poem in the Catalan language. La La Pàtria is considered to be one of the first manifestations of the Renaixença.
