Massiiliano Coda Zabetta from the University of Bordeaux presents his findings on International Postdoctoral Mobility and Career Effect in Italia Academia at the AQR Lunch Seminar.

Massimiliano Coda Zabetta is the invited speaker at the latest AQR seminar series, presenting his contributions to the research fields of labor economics and academic mobility studies. His work uses duration models to estimate and predict promotion to tenured position of academic personnel returning to Italy from post-doctoral positions abroad.

The study, coauthored by Aldo Genua, concludes that fullfillment of postdoctoral positions abroad have a positive effect on career outcomes for returning acadèmic staff, benefitting acadèmic career in the long term.
