AQR offers 2 Pre-Scholarship to work in the following projects:

-The casual effects of language-in-education policies and language training in a bilingual society: novel evidence for the case of Catalonia, funded by the Institut d’Estudis d’Autogovern of the Generalitat de Catalonia. More information.

-INSPIRE – Supporting the inclusion, wellbeing, and growth of rural areas through multi-actor Smart Villages labs for enhanced governance framework, funded by the European Commission, Horizon Europe. More information.

We are seeking candidates at the pre-doctoral level interested in joining the PhD in Economics programme at the University of Barcelona in the academic year 2024-2025. Candidates will be assisted in applying for full scholarships to start on May 1, 2025.

Candidates must:

1. Apply to PhD in Economics programme of the University of Barcelona before March 15, 2024.
2. Send a letter of interest (500 words max in pdf) to school.economics@ub.edu before March 31, 2024.
