Moises L. Obaco Álvarez awarded with a SEBAP researcher mobility grant

Moises L. Obaco Álvarez, PhD student at AQR-IREA Research Group, will join the University of Groningen for three months, from the first days of January to the first days of April 2018. During his stay, he will conduct research on agglomeration costs under the supervision of the Dr..Dimitris Ballas, associated professor at the department of Economic Geography in the Faculty of Spatial Sciences of the University of Groningen.Moises L. Obaco Álvarez , PhD student at the AQR-IREA Research Group, has been awarded with a researcher mobility grant by the Barcelona Economic Society of Friends of the Country (Sociedad Económica Barcelonesa de Amigos del País - SEBAP). The grant provides funding for teaching and research staff and PhD students at Catalan universities and research centres to undertake an academic stay at a foreign institution in order to prepare research projects related to the economic development of Barcelona and its surroundings. The prize ceremony took place at the Saló de Cent of the Barcelona City Hall on March 20th, 2018.
