The XIX Forum on Studies about the Youth "Youth migrant: costs and social opportunities", organised by the General Directorate of Youth of the Generalitat of Catalona, takes place on Lleida on November 24th and 25th 2016. The forum has a double aim. On the one hand, it wants to different aspects of migration, see what is the profile of those who have left and the motivations to do it, in what conditions do they live the different experiences and what is the value of emigration to the young people in their personal and professional paths. On the other hand, it also wants to promote a global reflection on the costs and the opportunities that represents this phenomenon for the Catalan society and how the public administrations, firms and the civil society can facilitate the international movement of young people and, particulary, how to provide opportunities to return if they want.
