Dr. Jordi Suriñach re-elected to the presidency of the Spanish Regional Science Association (AECR).

On 1st July 2016, Jordi Suriñach, (Professor of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Barcelona, director of the Institute for Research in Applied Economics, IREA, and member of AQR Research Group) was re-elected to the presidency of the Spanish Association Regional Science (AECR) in which he is the president since 2012. 

The three main AECR tasks are the congress that is held in autumn each year, the magazine Regional Research and the contributions from the activities carried out both by ERSA- European Regional Science Association, as the RIAS-Regional Science Association International.
