Statutes of the University of Cervera (I)

First page of the Decree for the Erection of the Royal University of Cervera. The first statutes of the University of Cervera were approved by Philip V in 1726. However, it was not until 1740 that teaching began there. In 1842 the University was finally transferred to the city of Barcelona and the University of Cervera ceased to exist.
