Project UNIBILITYUniversity Meets Social Responsibility – UNIBILITY is an Erasmus+ project that was launched in October 2015 and is scheduled to run until October 2017. The UB is one of a number of partners in the project and will channel its involvement through the Internal Control, Risks and Corporate Social Responsibility office, with the support of Dr Isabel Vidal, director of the Centre for Research on Citizenship and Civil Society (CISC). Joining the UB in the UNIBILITY project framework are Dublin City University (Ireland), the University of Porto (Portugal), the Public University of Ptuj (Slovenia), the Polytechnic University of Bucharest (Romania), the University of Vienna (Austria) and the Belgium-based European University Continuing Education Network (EUCEN). UNIBILITY will seek to consolidate social responsibility at the participating universities by pursuing the following specific objectives:
- To strengthen the commitment between higher education institutions and their local communities.
