Office for Internal Control, Risks and Corporate Social Responsibility

In the year 2009, the creation of a new office reporting directly to the Rector was approved. Its functions are divided into two main areas.

The first area, which is Internal Control and Risks, makes use of a comptroller in economic and financial areas in order to provide greater rigour in the management of the UB’s resources.

The second area focuses on promoting the values of social responsibility at the University. In this respect, we should mention channels of communication that enable the UB to enhance its our social responsibility, as well as the introduction of the concept of transparency with regard to results achieved in the economic, social and environmental areas.
