À. Lorena Fuster Peiró

À. Lorena Fuster is the secretary of the ADHUC-Theory, Gender, Sexuality Research Centre and a lecturer in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Barcelona.

Her research explores the theme of imagination and imaginaries in contemporary thought, in particular through authors such as Hannah Arendt, Simone Weil, Iris Murdoch, Ágnes Heller, Luce Irigaray and Judith Butler. Within the framework of national and European projects, she has tackled problems related to issues such as transmission, recognition, debt and vulnerability and the relationship between activism and philosophy through figures such as Clotilde Cerdà, subjects on which she has published numerous articles in journals and books and has explored the creation and transmission of thought through different formats. She has participated in the creation and coordination of activities such as the Cicle Internacional de Conferències Primaveres Arendtianes, Lectures Compartides and Laboratori de Tesi. She is director of the Seminario Filosofía y Género / ADHUC-Centro de Investigación Teoría, Género, Sexualidad and co-director of the Festival de Filosofia Barcelona Pensa since 2020.
