Biforate windows with round arches on the main façade of the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona, 585, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.
The main façade of the Historic Building features a continuous succession of bifurcated windows with round arches, which are hierarchical by level and follow a strict symmetry and simple rhythm. The round arches are a clear example of the German Romantic style known as Rundbogenstil, which was an important source of inspiration for the architect Rogent throughout the building.
