Reliefs
Decorative reliefs on the pediment of the central body of the main façade of the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona.
Except for the capitals and the corbels supporting the curved mouldings above the windows, the only ornamentation on the façade appears on the pediment of the central body. The reliefs are made up of the monarchic arms, referring to the Emperor Charles V (King Charles I of Spain) and two medallions on either side, with the effigies of Alfonso V the Magnanimous, and Queen Isabel II.
