Some of our scientific activity corresponds to charges from public bodies responsible for land management, from environmental companies, or from nongovernmental groups involved in nature conservation.

GIS of Vegetation mapping
Most of our mapping projects result into maps or manuals, useful for environmental studies and diagnoses, and for basic monitoring activities. The most general of these papers are the map series at the scale 1: 50.000 of habitats and vegetation of Catalonia, the Manual of the Habitats of Catalonia, and a varied amount of maps concerning natural areas.

Assessment and catalogues of flora and vegetation
We undertake studies on flora and vegetation, which are basic for landscape assessing and managing. Some of them correspond to monitoring activities of rare or endangered plants, to detailed maps of particular plants or communities, or to seed banks for conservation purposes.
- Conservation and restoration of plant populations or communities
This aspect includes studies on forest ecological physiology, monitoring works of endangered ecosystems (snow beds, fens, marshes) and ecological restoration projects for degraded areas.
