Deadlines for presenting amendments to the UB Bioethics Comission
- Once the investigator receives the amendments relating to his/her project, he/she will have a period of one month to submit the documentation with the requested modifications (as laid down in point 8.4 of the CBUB Organization and Functioning Regulation).
- If no response to the comments is received after this month, the CBUB Technical Office will send a reminder to confirm that the investigator is working on the amendments.
- A second reminder will be sent a month after the first reminder:
- If the investigator does not confirm that they are working on the amendments within a maximum of two weeks, the project will be rejected.
- If the investigator confirms that they are working on the amendments, they will have one additional month to send the required documentation. After this month, if the documentation has not been received, the project will be rejected.
- If the project is rejected, the evaluation procedure should be started again.
