Chair UB-Avinent of Digital Dentistry
The Chair formalized between the UB and the company Avinent aims to carry out training and research activities in the field of oral implantology.

The UB-Avinent Chair emerged from the desire to advance knowledge of oral implantology. The Avinent company promotes research and training through the University of Barcelona with the following objectives:
- Carrying out training activities at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the UB within the field of oral implantology.
- Development of new products and new tools applicable to dental care.
- Performing clinical and preclinical studies with the aim of improving the quality in the care and treatment patients.
- Creation of the UB-Avinent Chair Award with the aim of promoting clinical excellence in oral implantology.
- Carry out advisory tasks to the R&D department and technical training for Avinent company personnel in the areas of oral implantology, bone regeneration, prosthetics and digital dentistry.
