In the first quarter, the Catalan economy maintains the dynamism and leaves behind the effects of political instability

The Chamber of Commerce of Barcelona and the Applied Economics Laboratory (AQR-LAb) of the University of Barcelona present the report of the first quarter and the 2018-2019 annual forecasts. The analysis is complemented by a comparison of the economic evolution with the whole of Spain, which allows to assess the impact of the political uncertainty about the economy. Stress that an increase in GDP of 3.1% is expected in 2018, four tenths more than the forecast made three months ago.
