AQR-lab publishes the study “Impact of cruise activity in the Port of Barcelona on the catalan economy”

The estimated total impact includes three types of impacts: direct, indirect and induced, which have been quantified in terms of turnover, contribution to GDP, salary income, full-time jobs and tax revenues.

The figures shown reflect the impact of the Port of Barcelona cruise activity on Catalonia, although estimated results are also offered at Barcelona city level. In addition, the report gives a break down of the estimated impact by sector.
