AQR-Lab presents a study on the current situation and perspectives of travel agencies in the ACAVe Forum and the AMADEUS Forum
Dr. Jordi Suriñach, director of the AQR-Lab Economics Laboratory AQR-Lab, will shortly present two presentations on the current situation and prospects of Travel Agencies in Spain.
The first paper is going to be held within the XVII ACAV Forum - Impactos Turística based on the report presented by ACAVe and AMADEUS Spain called "Strategic Study on travel agencies in Spain". The topic of the presentation is going to be: "Analysis on Travel Agencies - Main data and user profile". The website of the event is: www.acave.travel/foro2017
Subsequently, Jordi Suriñach is going to make another presentation on November 30 in the framework of the AMADEUS Forum in Madrid on the same project, subject under the title "Analysis of Travel Agencies. Main data, characteristics of Travel Agencies and perspectives.”
They will be two complementary lectures, one focused on the clients and the other on the Travel Agencies themselves.
Firstly, to contextualize the situation of Travel Agencies in Spain, the study dimension and describes the market of travel agencies (and travel) and analyzes the evolution that has occurred in recent years. In addition, it does an in-depth analysis of travelers, the characteristics of these and a comparison with the previously named study of 2008.
On the other hand, a characterization of the Travel Agencies is carried out comparing it with the situation of 2008. Finally, an analysis of the future perspectives in the sector is made, with the objective of helping to prepare the Agencies before the new reality to the one they face.
