On 10.04.2015, Dr. David Castells-Quintana successfully defended his doctoral thesis "Three Empirical Essays on Concentration of Resources and Economic Growth", supervised by Dr. Vicente Royuela, in the Sala de Graus at the Faculty of Economics and Business. Dr. Andres Rodriguez-Pose, Dr. Raul Ramos, and Dr. Gustavo Marrero composed the Doctoral Committee. 

On 27.03.2015, Dr. Esther Goya successfully defended her doctoral thesis "Essays on innovation, productivity and knowledge flows: Evidence for Spanish firms" supervised by Dr. Esther Vayá and Dr. Jordi Suriñach, in the Sala de Graus at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
