Two doctoral theses by ADHUC researchers have been awarded the Outstanding PhD Thesis Award for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Joana Videira, who was pre-doctoral staff at ADHUC, received the prize for her thesis Figuras impropias. La violencia como expresión de la disidencia en la narrativa de Marta Sanz y Sara Mesa. This work, which received an international mention, was supervised by Elena Losada (ADHUC-University of Barcelona).
Hanan Jasim Khammas, postdoctoral researcher at ADHUC, won the prize for El signe del cos: narrativa iraquiana contemporànea i la guerra contra el terrorisme. The thesis, which received an international mention, was supervised by Andrew Monnickendam (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona) and Mònica Rius Piniés (ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona).
