Joana Masó (Centre Dona i Literatura) and Assumpta Bassas (Universitat de Barcelona) are coordinating this course as part of the program Els Juliols UB, which will take place from July 14 to 18. The course will be given by Catalan artists Mar Arza, Isabel Banal, Blanca Casas Brullet, Antònia del Rio and Mireia Sallarès, in conversation with Assumpta Bassas, Marina Garcés, Joana Masó, Imma Merino and Georgina Rabassó. Its aim is to unfold the philosophical, literary, historical and political thought produced by women, mainly throughout the twentieth century. The course is linked to the exhibition series of the same title, which will be held in the Arts Santa Mònica center between January 2014 and January 2015. Scheduled as part of the course, there will be a guided visit to Antònia del Rio's exhibition "Esporgats".
