Helga Jorba Noguera
Helga JORBA is a predoctoral researcher at ADHUC—Center for Research Theory, Gender, Sexuality. Her doctoral thesis proposes a contemporary reading of the The Guide for the Perplexed by Maimonides in light of the history of his reception. Particularly, she focuses on the concept of knowledge through notions such as prophecy or idolatry. Her research interests include issues related to secularization and cultural assimilation (through figures such as Rahel Varnhagen and Salomon Maimon) and guilt in the uses of the adamic story.
