La construcción de la negritud. Procesos de circulación en la modernidad temprana, coordinated by Diana Berruezo-Sánchez, is a seminar funded by Fundación Duques de Soria. The three-day seminar will bring together members of the project to discuss how the notions of blackness circulated in early modern Spain. The seminar will include a wide range of activities, such as discussions of works in progress, reading groups, and plenary talks. It will promote a scientific meeting to discuss the state and advancement of the project. 

This activity is a result of the project I+D+i PID2021-124893NA-I00: The Making of Blackness, A Process of Cultural and Social Negotiation from the Bottom-Up, funded by Fundación Duques de Soria.
