Principal Investigators

Blanca Garí

Principal Investigator

Professor in Medieval History. Trained as medievalist in Barcelona, Paris and Genoa, she received her PhD in History from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Currently, she is the coordinator of the SGR MAHPA and of the PhD programme in Medieval Cultures (University of Barcelona). She is member of the Management Committee of the project "New Communities of Interpretation" coordinated by the University of Groningen (COST-Action IS1301). She is also member of the Institute for Research on Medieval Cultures (IRCVM).

Núria Jornet

Co-Principal Investigator

She received her PhD in Medieval history from the University of Barcelona. Her dissertation was focused on the first community of poor clares in Catalonia (foundation and archive). She is a lecturer in the Department of Library and Information Sciencem where she teaches courses on archival studies, documentary heritage and historiographical methods of archival research. She is also member of the Institute for Research on Medieval Cultures (IRCVM).
