This research line is devoted to the construction and study of comparative diachronic maps of the processes of foundation, establishment, and development of male and female orders in the different peninsular kingdoms. This research line is directly linked to the Claustra Atlas, making use of its historical maps and georeferenced database. The goal of this research line is to further develop the main outcomes of Claustra by implementing pilot projects that visualize gender identities and differences. In a first stage, the projects in this research line will focus on three geographical areas: Catalonia, Andalusia, and Portugal.
