Conference on the life and work of the philosopher Śrī Rāmānujācārya, Sanskrit scholar and social reformer of the eleventh century, born in South India, and author of some of the capital works of Sanskrit philosophy, such as Śrī Bhāṣya and Bhagavadgītābhāṣya . The event took place on June 19, from 17.30 to 20.00, in the Aula Magna of the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona as a commemoration of the millennium of his birth. The conference is organized within the framework of the Sanskrit Language and Literature Courses of the Faculty of Philology of the University of Barcelona, organized by the IPOA (Institute of the Ancient Near East).
