Aaron Ventura
Aaron Ventura is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Philology at the University of Barcelona. He teaches History of the English Language and English Phonetics and Phonology. He is currently a PhD candidate and his main research interests are framed within Corpus Linguistics and Contrastive Linguistics. In the past two years, he has occasionally collaborated in the project Sci-Lex. As a member of the American Association for Applied Linguistics, he has participated as a speaker in the 2011 congress held in Chicago. He also teaches English in a secondary school and gives some English courses to post-seconday school students.
