Presentation of the book La memoria de la violencia

Marisa Siguan, professor of the CRIC master’s program, presents her book La memoria de la violencia on Thursday, March 2n at 7 pm. The event, which will take place at Documenta Bookstore, will consist of a dialogue between the author, Marisa Siguan, and the translator and writer Adan Kovacsis, and will be introduced by the writer and professor of Catalan literature Lluis Quintana (UAB). The dialogue will deal with the content of La memoria de la violencia, which explores the literary representation of violence in 20th century Europe. From this thematic axis, the essay delves into the literary work of authors such as Primo Levi, Imre Kertèsz, Jean Amèry, Ruth Klüger, Jorge Semprún, Varlam Shalámov, Max Aub and Herta Müller, among other testimonies.
