Member of the research group Grupo de Investigación en Técnicas Estadísticas Avanzadas Aplicadas a la Psicología (www.ub.edu/gteaap), it's research focus on the study of complex models for the study of connectivity in brain signal, the study of robust indicators in the statistical decision, in the epidemiological studies and in the application of the methodology in the most applied areas. He is also a member of the Institute for Research in Brain, Cognition and Behavior (IRC3), recognized by the University of Barcelona (April 30, 2009).

Teaches subjects related to statistics and epidemiological studies in undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Se is also a member of the Consolidated Group of Teaching Innovation recognized by the University of Barcelona "Grupo de desarrollo para el aprendizaje de la estadística en salud" (GIDCUB-11 / EST).
