UB-ISDIN LIVE YOUNG Chair
The appearance of skin is a faithful reflection of the state of health. The proposal of this Chair is to generate solid scientific knowledge to inform the population about strategies that can keep our body young and healthy: strategies that, in turn, will give our skin a young, healthy appearance, instead of choosing to rejuvenate our appearance artificially without really improving health.
To achieve this, the UB-ISDIN LIVE YOUNG Chair is designed to contribute to developing knowledge of the skin based on promoting the study and scientific analysis of all the biological (endogenous or genetic, exogenous or exposome), social, emotional and spiritual parameters that affect our health over time and are reflected in the appearance of our skin. The aim is to promote specific care techniques and habits that enable us to prolong the “youth” of our health and consequently of our skin.

Presentation
The objectives pursued by the Chair with its activity are:
1. Generate knowledge from a meta-analysis of available scientific publications on:
1.1 Exposome and skin (pollution, smoking, UV radiation, diet, lifestyle, sleep, exercise, stress, profession, etc.
1.2 Emotional wellbeing and skin
1.3 Spiritual wellbeing and skin
1.4 Social wellbeing and skin
In each publication, we will specifically look for the influence of genetic susceptibility, the influence on the cutaneous epigenome, the information on the cutaneous metabolome of ageing, and the existing technological applications.
2. Create transdisciplinary meetings of experts to address each one of the previous topics.
3. Promote knowledge of the exposome through dissemination of the progress made to society and the training of skin professionals.
4. Generate research proposals to request financing from public or private entities to demonstrate the tests of concept that are generated.
