Chair of Neuroeducation UB-EDU1st
Neuroeducation is a new academic discipline that focuses on how the brain is formed and how it works and learns, with the central objective being to optimize learning procedures to enhance them for the benefit of personal growth and social dignity.

Objectives
The general objective of this Chair is to contribute to the transfer of knowledge and to the training of professionals in any field of education (teachers at all educational levels, educators, psycho-pedagogues, psychologists, sociologists, etc.), and also to the dissemination of knowledge to society, without forgetting research in the field of neuroeducation.
All in all, the activities that are promoted, therefore, are aimed at promoting pedagogical and educational changes, and therefore social changes, that will improve and optimize flexible, adaptable and inclusive training for people, with special emphasis on children, adolescents and young people.

Professor at the UB Faculty of Education. PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences. Director
of the Postgraduate Neuroeducation of IDP-ICE of the UB. Member of the consolidated research group GR-EME of Environments and materials for learning. In addition, from the
consolidated innovation group INDÁGATE. Member of the university section of the IDP-ICE.
She has been delegate of the Rector and Vice-dean of doctorate at the Faculty of Pedagogy
among other positions.
Professor and researcher of the Section of Biomedical, Evolutionary and Development Genetics of the UB. Member of the consolidated research group Evolution and Development. Head of the Biology Subject of the University Entrance Exams and advisor to various groups of the Department of Education and the UNESCO International Bureau of Education. He has published more than 60 scientific articles, some twenty textbooks and teaching proposals, and 20 books of dissemination and essay, several of which are on the field of Neuroeducation.

European Master's Degree in Neuroscience-Behavioural Neurobiology from the Faculty of Molecular Biology and Neuroscience at the University of Seville. Forms part of the study team of psychosomatic

Parenting at the University of Barcelona. Research experience in neuroscience at national and
international level. Researcher at the UAB Institute of Neuroscience. Co-author of the book "10

Pedagogue specialized in social and educational projects and expert consultant in e-learning,
digital skills and collaborative and online learning. She is currently responsible for the
Educational Accompaniment Program of the Catalonia La Pedrera Foundation, a collaborating
professor at the UOC and the UB, where she participates in the Neuroeducation Postgraduate
Program.
Professor of the neuroeducation postgraduate course at the University of Barcelona, of the CADE neurodidactic master's degree in Madrid and of the neuroeducation diploma at the Villa María National University of Argentina. Author of the book Neuroeducation in the classroom. From theory to practice and co-author of Neuromites in education. Learning from neuroscience. Member of the UB-EDU1ST Chair Director of the Journal of Neuroeducation
Graduate in biotechnology (UAB) and doctor in biomedicine, specialty of neuroscience
(IDIBAPS). He is a professor of biomedicine in vocational training and does research and teaching at the Educational Research Group in Health Sciences (UPF) in the fields of inquiry
learning and the support of neuroscience in education. He also serves as editor in scientific
research and dissemination magazines.
Master of Primary Education, Master in Neurodidactics, winner of the National Prize for
Education in 2013 and Innovation Prize URJC 2017. Professor in the Master of Neurodidactics
at URJC and in the Master of Teaching URJC. He teaches classes in the UNIR Master of
Neuropsychology and Education. He participates in the postgraduate course of Learning
Difficulties at the UB and in the Expert in Neuroscience in Education of APFRATO and Florida
Universitaria. Co-founder of NIUCO education, which is committed to a methodological change
based on the advances of science in the field of education, neurodidactics, and creator of the
blog Pizarras Abiertas.
