Objective The main aim of the study was to assess the feasibility of developing an instrument to model and estimate the impact of structural reforms on the macroeconomic performance in the EU.
Methodology Developing a typology of the existing tools and their capabilities to model the effects of structural reforms on the macroeconomic performance: Single equation regressions, partial or general equilibrium models. An in-depth analysis of a number of technical and practical questions related to the implementation of the most appropriate method for the Commission. The results of all parts of the study and the conclusions.
