Objective
The localization of Catalonia, dividing the Catalan territory in a series of groups of municipalities (urban systems) depending on the following criteria: mobility because of studies, of purchases and leisure, effect of the educational infrastructures and equipments and incorporation of the sanitary infrastructures. To Measure the degree of well-being of the different Catalan municipalities. To design a bulletin (or to contribute the necessary information in order that partner could join in another publication) of information - economic to local level for the set of Catalonia that it allows, of periodic form, to arrange of a clear photography on the differences to local level.
Methodology
Definition of urban systems in Catalonia - choice and concretion of the criteria depending on which the urban systems will be constructed. - summary of the information necessary for the territorialisation. - accomplishment of surveys to replace the information that are not available - selection of the methodology for the territorialisation - realization of the territorialisation. B. Production of ' social indicators of quality of life - compilation of social indicators must approach the social reality from a triple slope: territorial, temporary and dimensional - 3 dimensions: Situation of the individuals, situation of the inequalities between the individuals, Situation of the infrastructures. C. Elaboration of to from a bulletin of socio-economic information to local level - we consider the following sections: demographics, economy and business, labour market, consumption, transportation, education and culture, health and social services and quality of life - stages of work: Collection of information available, selection of information, distinguishing between areas a) municipal, b) local and c) urban systems.
