Objective
Performing a systematic and rigorous outline of possible effects that may have the introduction of a new superstore on the region according to the literature.
Methodology
Identifying all possible potential costs and benefits derived from, distinguishing to the following aspects: Dimensions of the effects: Economic: Consequences in terms of employment, business competency, pricing, etc.. Social: Satisfaction of consumer demands, etc. Environmental: Consumer mobility, effects on congestion, sustainability, effects on land use, etc.. Type of centre: hypermarkets, shopping centers, regional malls, community parks, groups of medium surface in central areas, etc.) Locations in the region: urban location, central or outside.
