UB halls of residence
The University of Barcelona is the only public university in Catalonia to operate its own halls of residence, which in addition to accommodation and meals offer students an environment in which to broaden their personal, cultural and scientific horizons.
The University of Barcelona halls of residence provide accommodation and meals seven days a week, but we also aim to do much more. We want those of you who choose to stay with us to experience university life in the best possible company, alongside other students who are likely to become lifelong friends. We strive for excellence, so strong academic performance is required for admission and for prolonging your stay with us.
We are defined by our philosophy: to prepare you for success in your personal and professional lives. We offer a diverse environment in which you will develop key skills for your future, arranging a wide variety of activities to enjoy with fellow residents: sport, music, dance, theatre, language exchange, debates, talks, round table discussions, and more.
