On Friday 23 February, a conversation between the Burkinabe filmmaker Chloé Aïcha Boro and Myriam Mallart, PhD and lecturer at the University of Barcelona, will take place after the screening of the film Al Djanat. The meeting will take place as part of La Inesperada Festival de Cine, a film festival focused on non-fiction as a space for free and genuine, authorial and contemporary creation that pays special attention to the cinematographic language that relates to reality, understanding these practices as a broad territory in which there is room for everything from cinema to the visual arts. In this year's 2024 edition, which takes place from 21 to 25 February, 14 different audiovisual works will be screened and a meeting will be held for Catalan production projects in the process of development.
