The digital edition of S'homos, published and edited by Colectivo Gai de Compostela (CGC) between 1991 and 1996, is now available. The goal of this publication is to serve as an instrument to raise consciousness on, diffuse, denounce, criticize, reflect and debate on the discrimination against gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and transexuals. This book aspires then to be a fighting tool without ever forgetting the ludic and celebrative side of the attainment of a full sexual liberation.
This digital edition has been coordinated by Helena González Fernández (ADHUC-Universitat de Barcelona) and Mariám Mariño Costales (Consello da Cultura Galega) as part of collection "A Saia: publicacións periódicas feministas i LGTBIQ+", and it is one of the results of the reserch projects “Tránsfugas y parias modernas: género y exclusión en la cultura popular del s. XXI” (FEM2017-83974-P MINECO / AEI / ERDF, UE) and “Memorias de las masculinidades disidentes en España e Hispanoamérica" (PID2019-106083GB-I00).
