Number 19.1 of Expressions maghrébines, the international magazine dedicated to Maghebi cultures and indexed in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index, is now out. This issue includes a journal dossier coordinated by Claudia Esposito titled "Image, texte, son: esthétiques transmédiales du Maghreb contemporain". The essays included in this volume put forward a number of perspectives for approaching artistic figures which can be considered transmedial in its broadest sense, since their aesthetics are not built from a single medium; rather, they incorporate different forms of expression. Thus, new perspectives on the relationship between aesthetics and politics, as well as the role that the spectator plays in this intersection, always in the context of the contemporary Maghreb, are put into play. This issue also includes a miscellanea section.
