Number 18.2 of Expressions maghrébines, the international journal dedicated to Maghrebi cultures and indexed in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index is now out. This issue includes a pack coordinated by Alfonso de Toro (University of Leipzig) titled 'Constructeur de passages. Voix et discours en mouvement dans l'œuvre de Fouad Laroui.' The essays included in this volume put forward a number of perspectives for approaching the Moroccan author's work, his literary strategies and the critical reading of his work, with a special focus on the manner in which the issue of cultural diversity deployed between the categories of the Orient and the West are negotiated in it, as well as notions of history, community, individuality, and difference.
