The digital edition of two LGTBQ mastheads have been published in A Saia: Publicacións feministas galegas. On the one hand, journal Fluxos. Anuario galego de estudios gais e lésbicos (2019-2020) is recovered, which, despite its short period of publication, brought to light the importance of creating a university publication of both research and criticism on sexual identities. On the other hand, as + perralheiras (2005-2006), a publication on the “Malhibolheras precarias”, allows for the exploration of the activities organized by an association that supported a queer activism based on a concept of pride consisting of the retranca (ironic sense) and the celebration.
This digital edition is the result of the research projects “Female Defectors and Modern Pariahs: Gender and Exclusion in Twenty-First Popular Culture” FEM2017-83974-P MINECO / AEI / ERDF, UE) and “Gender diversity, masculinity and culture in Spain, Argentina, and Mexico” FEM2015-69863-P).
