Published issue 4.1 (2019) of the journal "MUSAS: Revista de Investigación en Mujer, Salud y Sociedad" entitled "Visibilizando la violencia hacia las mujeres en el embarazo". The articles included in this monographic arise from oral presentations and lectures presented at the "III Congreso Internacional Género, Ética y Cuidado", which was held in Barcelona in May 2018, and which was coorganised by the Project RecerCaixa 2016ACUP083 and ADHUC. This issue considers the violence which women are susceptible to suffering during pregnancy: between 15 and 20% of pregnant women may suffer violence from their partners, but also the health system itself can generate violence, the so-called "obstetric violence".
